Scenario: Creating a Board Pack

This walkthrough demonstrates how to create a comprehensive board pack summarizing the quarterly audit program status.

Step 1: Navigate to Reports

1. Go to Reports → + New → Board Pack
2. Set the reporting period: Q1 2027

Step 2: Select Engagements

1. AIIA lists all engagements completed or in progress during Q1
2. Select the engagements to include
3. Findings from selected engagements auto-populate

Step 3: AI-Generate Executive Summary

1. Click AI Generate Summary
2. AI analyzes:
   • 6 engagements completed (100% of Q1 plan)
   • 12 findings (3 High, 7 Medium, 2 Low)
   • 85% finding closure rate from prior periods
   • Key themes: AP controls, access management, vendor risk
3. AI drafts a professional executive summary
4. Review and edit the narrative

Step 4: Add Dashboards

1. Include automated sections:
   • Risk Heatmap — current risk landscape
   • Finding Trend Chart — quarter-over-quarter comparison
   • Compliance Scorecard — NCA ECC, PDPL status
   • Resource Utilization — team capacity metrics
   • KRI Summary — monitoring highlights

Step 5: Review & Approve

1. Submit board pack for CAE review
2. CAE reviews and approves
3. Export as branded PDF
4. Distribute to board members with access logging
