Track Remediation
The Remediation Tracker provides a consolidated view of all open, overdue, and in-progress action plans across your organization. It helps ensure that identified issues are resolved within the agreed timeframes.
Remediation Tracker Overview
Navigate to Remediation from the main sidebar to access the tracker. The view shows:
- Summary cards — counts of Open, Overdue, Implemented, Verified, and Closed action plans
- Filterable list — all action plans with status, owner, due date, and associated finding
- Trend chart — remediation completion rates over time
Filtering & Sorting

| Severity | Finding severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low) |
| Engagement | Filter by specific engagement |

Tracking Workflow
1. Monitor Overdue Items
The tracker highlights overdue action plans in red. These are plans where due_date has passed but status is still OPEN.
- Click an overdue item to view details
- Send a reminder to the action owner
- Escalate to management if needed
2. Review Implemented Items
When an action owner marks their plan as Implemented:
- The tracker moves the item to the "Implemented" queue
- The auditor reviews the remediation evidence
- Optionally performs a follow-up test
- Marks as Verified if evidence is satisfactory
3. Close Verified Items
Manager or CAE reviews verified items and marks them Closed:
- Navigate to the Verified queue
- Review the evidence and follow-up test results
- Click Close to finalize
- The finding's
closed_attimestamp is set
Remediation Metrics
The tracker displays key performance indicators:

| Remediation Rate | Percentage of action plans closed within the due date |
| Average Days to Close | Mean time from action plan creation to closure |
| Overdue Count | Number of open action plans past due date |
| By Severity | Breakdown of open items by finding severity |
Export
- Click Export to download the remediation status as CSV or PDF
- Useful for board reporting and management review
- Export respects current filters — export only what you see
