Board Packs
Board packs are executive-level summary reports designed for audit committee and board presentations. They aggregate data across multiple engagements into a concise, visual format.
What Is a Board Pack?
A board pack combines:
- Engagement summaries — status, findings, and ratings
- Finding statistics — severity distribution, remediation rates
- KRI dashboard — key risk indicators and trends
- Remediation status — overdue and open action plans
- Coverage metrics — audit universe coverage analysis
Creating a Board Pack
- Navigate to Reporting → + New → Board Pack
- Select the reporting period (e.g., Q1 2027)
- Choose which engagements to include
- Select the KRI metrics to display
- Click Generate
The board pack builder pulls live data from the selected engagements and KRIs.

AI-Assisted Board Pack
Click AI Draft Executive Overview to generate the executive summary. The AI analyzes:
- All included engagement outcomes
- Finding patterns and trends
- Remediation progress statistics
- KRI threshold status
The generated text is a suggestion requiring CAE review and approval.
Customization
- Add/remove sections — toggle which sections appear
- Edit narrative — modify the executive overview and recommendations
- Select KRIs — choose which indicators to feature
- Set period — define the reporting timeframe
Export
Board packs can be exported as:
- PDF — formatted for printing and distribution
- PowerPoint — slide-ready for presentations
- Charts and tables are embedded as images for consistent formatting
Important Notes
- Only finalized findings (status = FINAL or CLOSED) are included
- Findings in DRAFT status are excluded from board pack aggregation
- The CAE must approve the board pack before distribution
- Board packs are versioned like all reports
