PDF Export
Export finalized reports as professionally formatted PDF documents ready for distribution to stakeholders.
Exporting a Report
- Open the report (must be in APPROVED or ISSUED status)
- Click Export → PDF
- Select export options (page size, orientation)
- The PDF is generated server-side and downloaded
PDF Contents
The exported PDF includes:
- Cover page — title, date, confidentiality level
- Table of contents — auto-generated from section headings
- Executive summary — formatted narrative
- Findings section — each finding with CCCER details and severity badge
- Action plans — remediation items linked to findings
- Appendices — supporting data, charts, evidence references
- Footer — page numbers, confidentiality notice
Formatting Tips

Timestamps
When a report is exported:
exported_attimestamp is set on the report- An audit log event is created recording who exported, when, and the export format
- The PDF is not stored permanently — re-export generates a fresh version
Permissions
Only users who can view the report can export it:
- Auditor (own engagements), Manager, CAE
