Troubleshooting — Engagements

I can't create a new engagement

• You need Manager or CAE role
• Check the engagement:create permission with your admin

Engagement won't advance to Fieldwork

• All planning phase milestones must be completed
• If phase approvals are configured, ensure the required approvals have been received
• Check that a lead auditor is assigned

"SoD Violation" when approving

• The user who created or managed the engagement cannot also approve the final report
• A different user with CAE role must perform the approval

Engagement Wizard won't generate scope

• Check that an AI model is configured in Administration → AI Models
• The AI requires at least a title and business unit to generate a scoping memo
• Test the AI model connection before use

Can't assign team members

• Only Manager and CAE roles can assign team members
• The user being assigned must exist in the system and belong to the same organization

Phase timeline shows red (overdue)

• The phase's planned_end_date has passed without completion
• Update the planned dates if the timeline has been officially extended
• Consider blocking the phase and documenting the reason
